FTTS/Norssiope.fi submitted an abstract to Bett 2015

Finnish Teacher Training Schools submitted an abstract to Bett London 2015. So if our presentation is selected to the program, you'll have a chance to hear about teachers professional development.

The Norssiope.fi programme is an approach to teachers’ professional development. Programme’s  theoretical framework is based on Rogers and Fullan’s work on the diffusion of innovations. We have tested new designs are (1) Needs-based training - questionnaires about needs and skills - included ‘cover stories’ drawn from the real lives of teachers using ICT (2) Training supported by a network of peers - teachers who are not ICT specialists - focused mainly on the development of ICT and collaboration skills and working processes at the teacher’s own workplace (3) also sparked several minor ICT (virtual cloud) projects with the teacher.
